As I am home I am now able to blog today. I am testing out some of the beta vox features, so here is my Twitter.

I just noticed that on of my teachers Mr Leigh has joined Vox. My friend Rupert told me that he had started reading his blog. So heres a heads up to Mr Leigh.
OK well I don't think I'm using my blog as well as I should be so I decided to blog about my school life at Dean Close and what I do at the weekends. I also want to increase my touch typing skills and just writing skills, I just hope that it pays off. So here is Day number 1 of 365 ( I think I will attempt this for a year)
NB: I am going to give a rating out of five for each lesson, it is not rated on how good the teaching is but on how much I enjoyed or learned form the lesson. Also I am not trying to be mean to the staff of the school just stating my opinion.

Last night was a bit weird I woke up at about five in the morning to find Mikey in his sleep knocking over my water bottle with his hand - quite a scary experience considering he couldn't remember doing it! Luckily I managed to sleep for the rest of the night (well at least I can't remember waking up) so at about 6:45 am my alarm woke me up. I just use this as a warning so I can give myself a good forty five minute prep time before getting out of bed. The next event in the long wake up of the morning is Mickey's alarm going off and him getting up at about 8:15am. I tried to get up several times all of them hopeless till I finally manged to jerk myself out of bed at about 8:30am giving me about ten minutes to get up and get changed and go to breakfast.
OK breakfast the best and worst part of the morning you think to yourself that you are going to have a great and filling meal before the onslaught of the school day begins to approach you. Instead you find that there aren't any "nice" cereals and that the only amount of bacon is pure fat! Not quite so appetizing. I then retreated back to my house to sort out my bags for the first four lessons if the day.
Period 1 8:55 - 9:30am Lesson 1 was RS (Religious Studies) which I really enjoy will my teacher Mr Groom we are studing Buddhism and we were following on from last lesson in which we tried and I think sucsseded in Meditating for about 20 minutes with only the occasional giggle from people. But anyway we dissgused the reasons in which somene might become a Buddhist and what rules they abide to. 3/5
Period 2 9:35 - 10:10am OK I love engish it was definatly my favourite lesson at my prep school and \I have to say it still is. At the moment we are covering Shakespeare's MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING in which the Characters of the play try to get the main characters Benedick and Beartrice to fall in love even though tey apear to be bitter enemies.( I think once we have finnished reading it in class I will write a review of it). So we also apart from covering a scene from that we also had a test on their they're and there. So yeah I had a pretty good english lesson 4/5
Period 3 & 4 10:15 - 11:30am Physics was always my favourite of the sciences I'm not sure why its guess its my absesion with space and quantum physics. And I still do injoy it however doing refraction for an hour and a half is a bit dull to say the least. 2/5
Break 11:30 - 11:50am I don't really considor this a break, more like a time to grab something from the tuck (sweet) shop and repack my bags for the next lesson. So there reaally isn't muc'h more about break - don't think I will post anything about it in the future unless something noteworthly happens.
Period 5 11:55am - 12:30pm Maths maths maths... well there isn't much to say about maths apart from we have to do it for GCSE. and that today we were studying... Ican't remember so I guess thats what happened in my maths lesson. I'll give it a 3/5 though.
Period 6 12:35 - 1:10pm I really enjoy french, its great to know a second language and as frech is one of the nearest cultrily diverse so I guess that helps. I can't really explain what we did but it did include a game of dooze whick is basicaly a French version of the game 12s or 21s. the idea of the game is count to 12 and whoever says the number 12 has to sit out. You can count 1 number 2 numbers or three numbers for example.
"1 2 3" "4 5" "6 7 8" "9 10" "11" "12" That was a pretty poor explanation so I think I will post an auido rules just incase anyone is interested.
Lunch: After lessons we get a 20 minute break I tend to use this time for checking my email and reading the news. For lunch I had Fish and Chips. If you ever come to my school (I don't know why you would) NEVER eat the fish - NEVER unless you injoy the taste of sick. The chips are pretty good if you put enough salt on them - just stay away from the fish. this is just my opinion maybe I had the bad one but still say tuned for more reports from The Dining hall.
Games: I'm currently off games so I tend to spend time in the libary working or just reading. By the way if you have read the Lord of the Rings and the hobbit and want to find out more about middle earth check out the silmarillion - be warned not for the faint hearted!.
Well that covers so for of today I will post an update of prep and what was for dinner so until then...
UPDATE:
Dinner: One of Mickey's favourite parts of the day. It seems at our school kitchens they have bad days. This was a bad day. Tonight we had a jacket patatoe dripped in a curryish sauce not one of my favourite foods but I managed to down a few fork fulls ( and a dozern or so glasses of water).
Prep: Prep was a bit of a bore I completed my Chemistry on about half an hour, the only Prep I had a problem with was my DT (design and technology) prep in which I was trying to draw the net of the packaging for some sungalles but I couldn't first of fit the design on the piece of paper and secondaly my box design was so complicated that I don't think they had any symbols of what they are meant to mean (i.e. using a dotted line to say your meant to do a fold.
OK so much for blogging everyday but the last few weeks have been really busy. I just started my new school and I have been settling down and trying to get my new laptop. I've finally got it but they haven't given me admin privileges so I haven't even been able to change theme! Well apart from that life is going pretty well - want something to to do check out this cool site
